A Laugh In Stockport: The MagnetTaking place on the first Thursday of every month, ALIS has grown into one of the very best comedy nights the North West has to offer. With a range of top professional acts from all over the country, the gig has a devoted, regular audience who have a genuine love for the shows, and who comics are lining up to play to. Rich got on board with this gig in August 2009, following his move to Manchester. In that time it's grown from a promising but unheralded gig, into something rather wonderful. The Little Theatre, Doncaster
  | As a professional, Saturday night line-up, with an audience of around 100 paying guests, this is a lovely monthly gig run in a fantastic community theatre. Audience expectations are high, but Rich has quickly struck up a great bond with regulars and newcomers alike. Rich is currently booked to play the gig from February through to May 2012. He'll also be filling in at Abbcom's other comedy night at Bar Abbey in Sheffield. The Comedy Night With No Name
Every new act needs to start somewhere - but not every new act night gets run with the respect, professionalism and warmth that the audience (and the acts themselves!) deserve. Set in the rugged surroundings of a Stockport biker bar, 'TCNWNN' has somehow grown to be a night that new acts love to play, and that pro acts will bring their best new material to test. As MC, this night gives Rich the chance to test out new ideas, and to hone his skills as an MC in front of a friendly but genuinely unpredictable crowd - if you can compere a gig where the landlord wears leather and drives a hearse, you can compere anywhere!
